What You'll Need

• A compatible Ford F-150 vehicle (2021-2023 models with 2.7L, 3.5L EcoBoost, or 5.0L V8)
• A laptop running Windows
• An HP Tuners MPVI3 interface
• The latest version of HP Tuners VCM Suite

Getting Started

To get started, you will need to purchase an HP Tuners MPVI3 interface and download the latest version of the VCM Suite software. Once you have everything installed, you can connect the MPVI3 to your truck's OBD-II port and your laptop's USB port.

For 2021-2023 F-150s, you will also need to use HP Tuners' Ford MG1 PCM service to unlock your vehicle's PCM for tuning. This is a one-time service that is performed by HP Tuners.

Tuning

With your PCM unlocked, you can now read the stock tune file from your truck and start making modifications. The VCM Editor software gives you access to a wide range of parameters, including:
